Organic Enzyme Exfoliating Mask

I am writing to you from New York City and before I introduce this month’s product, I would like to wish you all peace, health & love in what has been an incredibly challenging year for all of humanity. What a wild ride 2020 has been!
It is apparent, now more than ever, that we must find ways to care for our inner & outer terrain. I would daresay that taking care of ourselves is currently more challenging in some ways even if we have more time on our hands. We may be struggling with a lack of motivation especially when our nervous systems are charged with emotions. One thing that helps is to stay connected with others and feel supported. I will be sharing future posts under the wellness section of our blog about practices that have made a tremendous impact on my own ever-evolving journey which has had a fair share of pitfalls! Ah, to be human; practicing the fine art of balance, breath, and adaptability.
Let's get back to Beauty: 
We are thrilled to reintroduce our award-winning product, the Organic Enzyme Exfoliating Mask, now available by popular demand in the larger 4oz size. A big thank you to Rona Berg of Organic Spa Magazine for naming the Enzyme Exfoliating mask “Top Exfoliant” for their 2020 Organic Beauty Awards.
I love this treatment mask because it is gentle, good for all skin conditions, including acne, and it is an incredible powerhouse product.
Believe it or not, finding a good exfoliating mask for acne is difficult because most are too stimulating and require manual manipulation which is not ideal as this spreads the bacteria around the face.
Working like a biological peel, this mask is simply mixed with water and raw honey (honey is optional) to lighten, brighten, and tighten the skin. Due to enzymatic activity this Enzyme Exfoliating Mask will gently dissolve and sweep away dead skin cells.

It is important to keep the mask moist on your skin. This is true of all our masks. They may be activated with any aqueous substance and the longer they stay moist, the more nutrition your skin will receive. Please note, this is a ‘treatment’ mask, and we recommend that you do not keep this mask on longer than 7 minutes.
Packed with antioxidants, phytonutrients, minerals, super-foods, and a blend of carefully selected organic fruit enzymes, this product is wonderful for combatting signs of aging while it clarifies and facilitates better absorption of your other skin care products. It deeply cleanses the skin and stimulates cell renewal.
If you go to spas and receive facials, then you will have experienced being under a steamer at the start of your treatment. This is the optimal time for application of the mask. At the end of the treatment your esthetician will follow with one of our nourishing ‘finishing’ masks to calm and feed the skin.
This mask can be used alone when needed, or for a real ‘red carpet ready’ treatment that will give you a big gorgeous glow. You can follow it with either the Organic Beautifying, Organic Cellular Repair or Organic Universal Mask.
I recommend using this mask 2-3 times a month for maintenance.
How to Use:
Mix 1 teaspoon of mask to a small amount of water. (honey optional)
Blend well and apply with a brush or fingertips. Keep damp for 7 minutes.
Work with water:
- To keep damp on your skin you may mist your face with water.
- Work with the steam of your bath or shower.
- Run fingertips under water and tap your face.
Remove with warm water and a washcloth. It will leave behind a ‘gummy’ residue, this is normal.
I recommend using our Purifying cleanser and washcloth to fully remove the residue and follow with our Herbal Toner.
