There has been a lot going on with us and we have all been very busy on both coasts but we owe you blog posts a.s.a.p.! We promise to be more diligent this year.
So let's catch up....!
Dr. Alkaitis and I recently participated in the Natural Product Expo West show in CA. It’s a miracle that I got there through the last BIG snowstorm of the season, delayed flights and lost (and then found) luggage twice, and a late arrival of our booth box, but in the end it all worked out. The booth came together beautifully and the show was a success!
Dr. Alkaitis drove down from West Sacramento and brought this incredible aloe vera plant that he potted in this very special beaker that had to be special ordered. It was great to have such a beautiful ‘mascot’ & centerpiece on our table that obviously also represented the fact that the base of our products is certified organic Aloe Vera (not water).
And you see the little baby succulents on the table? Well, those are not in the products, but I just LOVE succulents and had to include them. Those came with me on my lap all the way from NYC. Unfortunately they did not make it back with me or my father…. (long story). Moving on…
Our L.A based educator, sales representative & esthetician extraordinaire Kristen also joined us on Saturday and helped us man our super busy booth. It was great to have her there with us.
Kristen also works at Lula Holistic Mini Spa in Atwater Village, L.A. http://lulaminispa.com/ where both she and Leanne (owner) retail the full range of Dr. Alkaitis products and offer Dr. Alkaitis organic facial treatments. Leanne Lurie has been working with our products for over 10 years! She is not only a knowledgeable and talented esthetician (who specializes in problematic skin) but is also a wonderful human being. So, if you live in L.A. and are in need of some TLC for your beautiful mug – head over to the girls. You won’t regret it!
Until next time….which will be very soon, stay healthy + beautiful, Trish
